Regarding juvenile
delinquents, in recent year, juvenile delinquent has become a serious social
problem. Prevention of juvenile delinquents has become the issue of concern of
the world. Some people believe that juvenile delinquents should be imprisoned,
in the other hand; some people believe juvenile delinquents should instead be
sent to rehabilitation centers. I believe that they instead be sent to
rehabilitation center is better that imprisoned.
A noticeable advantage of
keeping juvenile delinquents in prisons is that living in the prison gives
these young people some time to reflect on his mistakes. However, prison is a
very dangerous place, nobody wants to live with murderer or robber. On the
other hand, a noteworthy benefit of sending juvenile delinquents to
rehabilitation centers is that they can study a number of useful skills such
that will help they to find a good job or interesting habit. Also, sending them
to rehabilitation centers has some negative points such as, living in
rehabilitation centers might let them learn some new bad habits from other
young culprits.
Beyond a cost of doubt, I
believe that they instead be sent to rehabilitation center is better that
imprisoned. The shortcoming in education is the cause contributing to juvenile
delinquents. Therefore, sending young culprits to rehabilitation centers can
give them more opportunities to reflect on his mistakes and learn some useful
skills such as basic working skills and learning skills. In addition,
rehabilitation centers can protect them away from violence and drugs.
In conclusion, I maintain
that juvenile delinquents should be required to stay for a certain time in
rehabilitation centers rather than in prisons, because, from my point of view,
the former approach is more advantageous than the latter one. Even though
prisons might help them reflect on his mistakes, the delinquents in question to
assimilate in society is very difficult. Therefore, I believe that they instead
be sent to rehabilitation center is better that imprisoned.
