A most important issue around the world : Ukraine crisis - Jeongyun Lee

For finding my next topic of blog assignment, in the BBC and CNN news sites, I read same breaking news. The topic was that I heard also in Korean broadcast, few days ago.

The deplyment of Russian troops and unidentified gunmen
in Crea has ratcheted up the crisis picture and caption
The state of Ukraine is that before several days, Russia sent Russian soldiers in Crimea, a peninsula in the Black Sea. The protests of Ukraine started in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, due to an important release of the government. Viktor Yanukovych -the President Ukraine- decided to interrupt conclusion of agreement with European Union. It was an anti-government rebellion. Starting from the protest of Kiev, A massive antigovernment demonstration was spreading on a national scale. After a few days, It changed a violent demonstration. Against of interference of United Stated in Ukraine, Russia chose an area where they had close connection. Crimea is very special area for Russia and Ukraine also, because this peninsula was part of Russia for centuries. But in 1954 Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev gave this area to Ukraine. This is the big present to mark 300 years of what he called "pan-Slavic brotherhood". Long time ago, Russia was especially sensitive about Crimea peninsula there are several reasons. This land has huge potential to Russia and most of people of there are Russian.
The European Union foreign ministers, G8-group of eight, is a a forum for the governments of seven leading industrialised democracies, plus Russia- and UN are profoundly concerned Russia's military actions in Crimea, Ukraine. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said "on the next steps the United Nations could take to support the de-escalation of the situation". In addition, on Friday of this week, President of United States, Barack Obama said " The United States will stand with the international community in affirming that there will be costs for any military intervention in Ukraine". He used the words "very fluid" and "deeply concerned". The Russian's recent behavior is extremely violent and threatening in the world.
In the article, "US president Barack Obama has called Russia's actions a breach of international law and a threat to peace and security". It is a terrible situation in our real life. People worry about the another World War, moreover, Ukrainians are terrifying. The world economy will be unstable. All of the world make every effort to save the security of Ukrainians and stabilize this dangerous situation. The nations, except United-states, Russia, and Ukraine, must closely cooperate to solve problem and prevent bloodshed anymore.
