Some people believe that subject such as as art, music, and drama should be a part of child’s basic education. Do you agree or disagree? --Oscar

As regards subjects such as art, music, and drama, those subjects are very difficult and unusual. Some people do not interested in art, music or drama because they have no talent. Whether subjects such as art, music, and drama should be a part of child’s basic education or not has fostered a controversy among different people. From my viewpoint, the aforementioned art subjects shouldn't be a part of every child’s basic education.

First of all, studying art subjects takes students a long time. Most people believe children need a happy childhood, therefore free time activates are very important to every child. As an opponent of the issue in hand, I believe that if art subjects become basic classes, a number of students will lose a part of free time and incentive to keep their children in school. On the other hand, do more exercises outside such as play baseball, play basketball and play tennis is better than attend art class because children need to exercise in the sunshine.

Moreover, the endorsers of the foregoing assertion maintain that art subjects aren’t good for poor family. Because of studying art subjects usually needs to practice at home, every child’s family need to buy something like art supplies, instruments, and costumes. Those necessary items, as everybody knows, are very expensive, therefore poor family might not afford. If art subjects become a part of every child’s basic education, the poor children feel lower self-esteem

To sum up, I oppose the assertion that subjects such as art, music, and drama should be a port of every child’s basic education because I find the claims of the opponents of this issue more cogent that those of its upholders. While I admit that the arguments of the adherents to the claim that studying art subjects takes up most of child’s time and costs is too high.
